Thermal desalination facilities, such as Multi-Stage Flash (MSF) and Multi-Effect Distillation (MED) plants, rely on continuous steam to vaporize and separate fresh water from brine. These systems typically operate at temperatures between 90°C and 130°C. The pressure is usually maintained slightly below saturation or at a partial vacuum in the initial stages to facilitate boiling. Tooloo supports this sector by delivering high-quality thermal energy in the form of steam, perfectly calibrated within its 50 to 600°C operational range to ensure steady thermodynamic efficiency for large-scale water purification.

Power generation, particularly in steam turbine cycles and concentrated solar power applications, requires intense, high-grade thermal energy to drive turbines. This sector utilizes superheated steam or thermal hot oil at temperatures that frequently sit between 300°C and 600°C, operating at significant pressures that generally exceed 50 bar. Tooloo’s capacity to generate thermal energy up to its 600°C maximum allows it to reliably supply the critical high-temperature steam or hot oil required to maintain continuous turbine rotation and secure baseload power output.

General industrial manufacturing, including textiles, pulp and paper, and chemical processing, depends heavily on versatile thermal energy for drying, curing, and baseline process heating. These consumers generally require medium-pressure steam or hot air ranging from 100°C to 250°C, typically operating at standard industrial pressures between 3 and 15 bar. Tooloo seamlessly integrates into these varied manufacturing environments by supplying precise, on-demand steam, hot oil, or hot air, leveraging its broad heat delivery capabilities to replace traditional, decentralized fossil fuel boilers.

District heating networks and large commercial facilities require stable, lower-grade heat to manage building climates and domestic hot water supplies. The required thermal medium is usually hot water or low-pressure steam, with temperatures naturally falling between 50°C and 120°C at pressures of 1 to 5 bar. Tooloo effectively captures the lower end of its operational spectrum to provide this safe, consistent thermal baseline, enabling municipalities and commercial developers to decarbonize large-scale space heating networks efficiently without over-producing unnecessary heat.

The food and beverage industry strictly requires sanitary thermal energy for cooking, brewing, pasteurization, and sterilization. The necessary thermal media—typically hot water and steam—must be delivered precisely between 60°C for basic pasteurization and up to 135°C for ultra-high-temperature (UHT) sterilization. These processes usually operate at pressures ranging from 2 to 10 bar. Tooloo accommodates these stringent safety standards by providing tightly controlled steam and hot water within its precise operational range to maintain exact temperature profiles without process fluctuation.

Oil refineries and petrochemical plants require massive amounts of heat for crude oil pre-heating, fractional distillation, and thermal cracking processes. These heavy industrial processes typically utilize hot oil or high-pressure steam, with standard operations requiring temperatures in the range of 315°C to 430°C and pressures spanning from deep vacuum conditions in distillation stages to 20–68 atm (roughly 20–69 bar) for broader processing. Tooloo’s systems are directly suited for these intensive thermal demands, providing the sustained high-temperature hot oil and steam up to 600°C required for complex hydrocarbon separation.

Thermal hydrogen production—including Steam Methane Reforming (SMR) and High-Temperature Electrolysis (HTE)—is highly energy-intensive, requiring superheated steam to drive core reactions. SMR utilizes steam and methane at typical temperatures between 700°C and 1000°C under moderate pressures of 15 to 30 bar, while advanced HTE systems also operate at high temperatures of 100°C to 850°C to split water efficiently. Although final catalytic reactions can exceed 600°C, Tooloo provides vital thermal pre-heating, delivering essential steam and ambient heat up to its 600°C threshold to significantly offset the primary energy load and improve the overall efficiency of the hydrogen production lifecycle.

What we do in Tooloo is the result of relentless effort, engineering knowledge and innovation, management, industrial experience, and a strong motivation driven by our team's commitment to a better and more sustainable world.
